"Journalists' breakfast" with Matthew Caruana Galizia

The murder of the famous journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia in Malta shocked journalists and civil society across Europe. It was hard to believe that such a drastic and irreparable crackdown on a free and critical journalist was still possible in the 21st century in a European Union country.

However, Matthew Caruana Galizia says that the danger remains today not only in Malta but also in other EU countries, which is why the lessons to be learned from such horrific events are extremely important.

"Journalists' breakfast" with Matthew Caruana Galizia will be held in Vilnius on Wednesday, June 19, at 1:00 p.m., in the Conference Hall (5th floor) of the Lithuanian National Martynas Mažvydas Library.
The event is free, but advance registration is required.
